I spoke with a motorsport tuner who has done a twingo rs and he said hes going to be honest with me and this is what he said
The 133 is a well tuned engine from factory for a 1.6 they have done 2 already and the best they got was 3 BHP and if you are going to map the car then its best to get performance mods then remapped.
he said the customer was over the moon the with map on the car but he wasnt impressed. Dont know if this is because hes use to great power increases or not though

Never heard of him till a freind who has a clio sport said give him a shout he knows his stuff and from our convo he knows a lot

yeah of course lol .. i know that naturally aspirated wont give as good a gain as a turbo BUT .. it will iron out flat spots and increase torq.
i plan to panel filter, then exhaust then map so i get the best out of them
id be happy woth 140bhp .. but it will iron out creases which is a good thing

the fastchip.nl remap delivers noticable more torque from 2000rpm up. no difference felt over ~4500 rpm. next version will have increased rev limiter (7200 or 7400rpm - depending on henks mood, I guess) so you won't even hit the flatspot when you trash it - except for 1st gear of course![]()
black LHD 133 Cup @ Austria

Exhaust, 1-2bhp tops. Panel filter, fuber all. Remap, 5bhp tops.
As you said the remap in the n/a is to smooth out the power delivery and to give more umph down lower in the rev range, which is what all us n/a'ers want![]()
