Electricity Prices Threaten Twingo Production

The CEO of Revoz (the Renault subsidiary that produces our Twingos) Ales Bratoz has warned that the price of electricity in Slovenia is too high and unsustainable in the long run and will effect their competitiveness.

In short, this means it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect Twingo prices to rise!

Twingo, the best-seller in France, placed top three in sales in its segment in Europe. Clio was
number five in its segment in Europe.

Twingo Gets a 5-Year Warranty in South Africa

In a move that can only increase the confidence we have in our little pocket rockets, Renault SA have extended the warranty on Twingos to a full 5 years (or roughly 93,000 miles).

Presently here in the UK and across Europe Renault has only offered as long as 3 Years. Although this doesn't mean we should expect any replication of these Hyundai-esque deals here any time soon, it does show reliability must be improving, otherwise the decision could prove very costly for Renault SA...
