TwingoOC FAQ

Here you can find answers to questions about how the board works. Use the links or search box below to find your way around.

I’ve joined, but I wish to edit my profile. How do I do this?

Click on the profile option in the navigation bar at the top of the page. This will then bring up your profile. You can then use the different options under “My Profile” on the top right hand side.

How do I become a fully paid member of Twingooc.com?

Simple - Look under the banner in the top left. You will see a ''Memberships'' link. Click this and choose your desired subscription.

I want to post a picture, but I’m having problems. How do I do this?

Your picture needs to be updated to one of the various photo upload sites, e.g. Photobucket, Imageshack, Flickr. Once your picture has been uploaded, you need to copy the weblink, and paste it into your post, putting the following tags around the link [*img] [/img] (removing the asterisk).

Your picture will then show in your post. We reccomend Photobucket as it produces the tags for you!

I want to modify my car. How do I do this?

The forum has a “How To” section, where a directory lists all the current modifications in this section that members have done to their own cars. If you want to do something that isn’t in the directory, then we would encourage you to do your own “How To” so it can then be added to the directory.

Click here to be taken to the "How To" directory. However please read our disclaimer before attempting any of the guides.

I want to change my alloys but dont understand the jargon?

As ever we have it covered! Please see here for our guide, if you have any further questions feel free to ask.

I have a classic Twingo, but most of the people on here appear to own the new Twingo. Can I still join?

By all means, we welcome anyone, whatever model they have. We now have a dedicated section in the forum for the classic Twingo, where questions and discussions can be posted.

We also have a number of members, including one of the moderators, which either own or have owned a classic and they will try to help you with any problems or issues you may have.

I want to attend a meet so I can meet all you wonderful people. How do I tell which members live near me?

In the local and regional meet section, there is a thread entitled “Twingooc Members Map”. A link in that thread shows a map of where our members, who have submitted their postcode in this thread, live. You can be added to this map by adding your postcode (or a nearby one) to this thread.

You can also check this section to see what meets have already been arranged.

I have an issue that isn’t listed here. Who do I contact?
