its just a gt that they tarted up for the launch of the twingo, they added the 182 cup alloys (as now seen on graham's car!!) and put black vinyl on the lower bumper front and rear, other than that its as per standard + options.

i was going to get them to vinyl up mine but i got a diffusor off them instead, still waiting for spare cash to get the front bumper though!!
out of interest if you need parts from them give them a ring, ask for lee, mention the club and you will get a discount, my diffusor was £113 instead of £130ish

Lmao, the panel the number plate is screwed to is usually body coloured, on that Twingo, its black!! Looks quite smart actually. Im off out to clean my windows in a minute!! Must have the car clean, although, it looks as though its about to rain. Aren't we all impressed with how the price of fuel is falling!! Now the problem is not affording petrol, but keeping the mileage down!
Its cos we have black cars betty, doesnt make a difference to us as our bits are already black, lol

In Spain the name complet of GT is Renault Twingo GT TCE 100
TCE - Turbo Charged Efficient 100HP

Same as in the UK. :)
Its just the 1.2 TCE engine.

Think what Sergio was going on about was the title 'twingo gt es'!
Stands for Twingo GT 'Ezra Sugden', which are a UK main dealer.
But as johgoo said, it's just the GT TCE!!

I think i might make a few of these up, will be much better though if i take the registration plate off and do the hole strip and get holes for the reg to go back on, i can do gloss black for now, see if i can get hold of matt black and start making some when i next have free time!

Yeh that'd be great!! Front and back please! Unlike my old 57 plate GT, which had the numberplate screwed on, my 08 plate has no visible screws, so Im guessing its just stuck on with glue. Anybody elses like this?

Is that red extreme lowered? I had to perform an emergency stop last night, on the north circ, 50 mph limit, lights went orange then red SO fast with a traffic light camera there, so had to slam on the anchors... 1st time Ive had to stop like that in this new Twingo, broke my heart to think of the brake dust on the alloys :( ::) ;D

Lol no its just a mobile phone camera! Its not lowered, just 20mm spacers with 15" alloys. Thinking of the 172 springs if they fit :) My mirrors came like that Sammi, but i want the silver covers.

Rides fine, no different from standard. The spacers made alot of difference in stabilty and cornering. Yeah the vinyl just sticks on.

ive got all measuremeants and stuff done now so just a case of getting it done! i am right in saying it the bottom color coded bit of the bumper people are after? if so thats what ive got measured up will try get one made up this week, they look tricky to apply but then again i just supply them so some people will be better at it then others!
Figners cost will have pics and price (will be cheap and then cheaper for TwingoOC Premium members)
So will keep you all up to date, its all set up just ready to sedn to the plotter when i next have time!

Ah coolios, nice one betty02!!! Any news on the colours available, want matte/matt black :P ;)
Yea, the bottom coloured bit is what i'm after!!
Applying, give the vinyl a quick blast with a hairdryer so it becomes warm. Lightly squirt the area with very very mild soapy water! This way, you can manouvere the vinyl around untill your happy with it! Then get a squeegy (or credit card wrapped in a soft cloth) and gently squeeze the water out!! Quick blast with the hair dryer again, then jobs done!!

i had a quote of approx £30 for the front (lower lip and behind the number plate) by a professional sign company, although i'm only going to get the bottom piece done now.
they quoted me using a special heavy duty vinyl that can be heat treated as its fitted as it needs to be very strong and flexable to be able to be properly curved around the lines of the car without causing any bubbling or tearing, its also very hard wearing and colourfast.
i think as i cant afford the front bumper spoiler for a while i may well pursue it again in the next few weeks

£30, thats not bad... I might go all 70's and have a vinyl roof :D (joking)
Actually, now that I think about it... that would look quite good :D
Maybe not?

My carbon fibre vinyl got delviered today i ordered m,att black with it which hasn't arrived for some reason so will be chasing that up, i was in hospital most of the day yesterday so wasn't able to get on or use the vinyl machine obviously.
Jim the problem with heated vinyl is getting it off again but it should all curve around fine anyway without bubbling, we will soon find out hopefully get graham sent off tommorow (fingers crossed) an for the set of behind reg plate and for the lower lip i will say around £25 delviered
