must admit when i read that earlier i was surprised that its only group 8, i actually thought it was a mistake!!
it makes it very reachable to youngstars now (unfortunatly!!)
Wow, 40.4mpg thats 7.4mpg less than the 1.2 GT, and group 8, wish I had held out for the RS now, lol :P
Good to see a thumbs up from all, though they can never keep their mouths shut about the 500 Abarth.
Loved this:
The looks of the thing are what really blew me away in the metal though. It's one of those cars that the more you look at, the better it gets.

I was quite impressed with the mpg aswell!! Though to be fair, whoever buys a RS is never going to get that sort of return :P :D! I struggle to achieve the so called 48mpg in the GT!!
I still don't know how they have managed to get the RS as group 8!!
Can't speak for Chris and Steffi, but i thinks the RS badge is going to have come off in a few weeks :-\ :'(!!!!

Looks like the dealership has already deiced her Twingo wasn't worthy of a Sport badge, dodgy mechanics, I can't believe it snapped when they fixed that dent, especially when it didn't come in one piece to start with! >:( Something definitely not right there. How come the Renault badge survived!?
Keep the badges! most people won't be able to tell the difference anyway! ;D
I'm considering getting one of those GT badges that they have on the side of the new Lagunas and putting it on the back of mine.

I'm considering getting one of those GT badges that they have on the side of the new Lagunas and putting it on the back of mine.
That is quite a good idea, can someone please do me a quick photoshop hehe (don't have it on me home pc)....

I had the invoice through for the cost of having my dent removed, haven't got it right now or I'd show you what it all came to, (my dads got it to have a look because....) but on it it says all the prices, for example the labour was £300, they had to fit a new Renault emblem on the back which was £15.00 (the bit above twingo, the diamond) the paint cause they had to paint my boot was about £50.00, other sundry's were like another £100, but the reason my dads having a look at the invoice is because on it, theres a part that says, 'replaced sport decal' which is charged at £15.00, but I didn't even have the sport badge replaced :-\ so my dads gonna ring them and get it all sorted...
As for the RS on the back of mine, I'm not going to be removing it (I've fitted a new'un), because I think it sets it apart from the rest of them that are about, not that there are many, I've seen about 4, all different colours to mine except one. And just the other day I was picking a mate up from McDonalds and when he got in the car, he said his mate who he was with asked how I afforded my Renualt Sport lol 8)
I don't think there'll be many RS's about anyway, so people aren't gonna be able to tell the difference unless they have an RS, work for Renualt or are really into them lol so mine is staying :)
By the way Graham, there a ******* pain in the arse getting the badges off, all the sticky side comes off and stays on the car and once you get that off theres still sticky **** left on, so you have to get removing stuff and scrub like **** lol Reet annoying :-\ lol

Yea, going to be replacing mine at some point too! Kinda in the middle of no where at the mo :D!!! Hence why i wanted to see the GT badge on the back, was thinking where the original 'twingo' was, but dunno, will have a chop around tomorrow at work and see! If a RS does pulls along side you though... :-\ :-[!!
Thanks anyways about the glue, out comes the gf's hairdryer again :P ;D! Then if theres any left will try clay bar and polish first, then the glue/***** removing stuff!!

Not sure it would look great in the Twingo location, I was gonna put mine down where you've got your RS badge, but probably de-twingo first anyway. Maybe I'll change my mind if I see your photoshops thought. :-\

In the corner don't look too bad, but not sure in the middle :-\ !?!
Looks better along the botton edge of the bootlid, to be honest.

Not really sure where it looks best, lower boot lid or crease?! I just followed the RS badge! Don't like it in the middle though!!
Another couple of places to put it (assuming you can get two badges!) is on the black bit in front of the door mirrors, or below the side indicator lens.

I'd pop it on the black "fabric" part on the door pillar, 'cause I reckon it's kinda boring putting it on the back and might clutter the look. Also, the door pillar is where it's placed on the Laguna, isn't it? If so, what Renault says, goes lol

Spoke to Renault, expalined about the brand NEW Laguna III GT, and how it has the GT badges on the side, and how i'd like to order three! They said yep found them, not a problem! So went to collect them and they're badges off a Laguna II GT >:( :-\! Went back and said these aren't what i ordered, and they said parts list not yet out for the mkIII...brick wall :D :D! Waiting for Renault to ring me re the badges!
I'm still interested in getting one of these GT badges of the side of the Laguna III, any chance of Karl (rf08zpp) getting the part number for me?

I think Graham sums it up there nicely, another case of rip off renault. No wonder we only get a Twingo badge as a sticker on the back of our cars.
Thanks for the part number though, still definatly concidering getting one when I have 30 quid to burn.
