Twingo Radio Reality Show all next week!

5 people are going to sit in a parked, new Renault Twingo for 12 hours a day, in a bid to win it. The competition will be held at the Royals shopping centre, in Southend.

The challenge, which starts at 8am, on Monday, is being organised by Southend Radio.

Matt Allen, from Rochford,
Phillip Klein, from Southend,
Amelia Edwards, from Hockley,
Christine Taylor, from Leigh,
and Myra Brooker, from Southend, will pile in for the competition.

In true reality show-style, the contestants will be whittled down daily until just two remain, when it will be left to Southend Radio listeners to decide who will pick up the keys and drive away.

Each contestant will receive a 20-minute break every four hours to eat, drink and answer the call of nature, but if they leave the car at any other time, they will be disqualified.

The winner will receive the keys on Friday.

The Renault Twingo is worth £9,200, and is being given away by Essex car dealership, Toomey Southend, based at Automotive Retail Park, Cherry Orchard Way, in Rochford.

Southend Radio station manager Sue Wood said: “This is going to be a huge challenge for our contestants, so please come and show them your support.

“They are all absolutely determined they are going to win it. We wish them all the very best of luck.”

This sounds eassssy!! They should have spiced it up a bit and not let them have breaks :P. This is very similar to a competition that ran locally to me a while back to win a car, except they had to kiss the car basically leave their face on the body work until they were the last one.... things people do ::)

haha i was thinking that too! someone will be rather uncomfortable, or end up in the boot lol. ive managed to fit 5 in mine before though, only not for 12 hours haha. and im sure aidy has managed to fit 6 in his !
