View Full Version : Renault Finance to Offer GT Owners a Free Upgrade to RS
One of the most unique strategies of beating the recession I've seen so far, me thinks.
I'm not happy at all though >:(
Seems they're planning to offer an upgrade to those with GTs to the RS :o
Sound like a no goer for Renault to me, but it looks as if they can back it up and make it quite lucrative for themselves from what they've said in their Press Statement.
I own mine outright though, so looks like I'm stuck with it!!!!! :( >:( :'( Grrr! why would you do this to me Renault!!

oooo good call, if it is i fell for it!!!!!!
My god this sounds fantastic but I can't help thinking April fools??
Press release is dated 1st April, so that's highly possible.
I thought it was genuine to start with.
Anyone here with a GT on finance who would get one of the letters?

I enjoyed this ad in the metro this morning on the tube into work...actually made me do a little chukkle.
BMW have done April Fools ads for many years now.
Love the e-mail address name on the ad in the link! ;D

Muchas gracias for all the respect points everyone ;D
You spent far too long doing that haha
True, but was worth it when it worked :D
I had much more elaborate BMW-esque plans, but I kinda run out of time so ran with this instead :P Recreating a web page that looked Renault-genuine was a taller task than I first imagined anyway.
Here's some other automotive related fools I've enjoyed today:

Sorry Aidy but I certainly don't have the time to pull off something like that!!
Ha, that's OK, you can make it up to me next year ;D
