I love this car in red.

I'd read somewhere that this car was going to have the play, pause and stop symbols on the pedals that was shown on the Twingo Concept, but this pics don't show that.

Not to keen on the orange seat belts, noticed the straps holding up the rear seats when folded up, did anyone get these for their current models as I don't have them and the keep falling down and are a pain as last time they flatted a cream cake I had in the back. >:(

I've got a single strap on the rear seat in mine, and to be honest, I find it useless.

The end is supposed to sit around the front headreat bar, but I can never get it to work correctly.

Mind you, every time I have the rear seat folded up anyway, I'm usually carrying enough heavy stuff against it to stop it falling back down again without the strap.

Back to the RS - the orange seatbelts bring back memories of the red seatbelts in the old MG Metro and Maestro's!!

I have the orange straps to hold the seats in place in my GT, not used though as you have to move the front seats forward to fold up the rear seats. I have to have my seat as far back as it goes as I am quite tall!!

The RS is gorgeous, but to be honest, you can pretty much make an extreme look like an RS, you can easily get new coloured seatbelts, have new alloys on it, a body kit can be put on an extreme (although the part around the fogs will be different of course) and my seats already have that orange trim, minus the Renualt Sport stitching on it, and I'm pretty sure you could find a company that could stitch that on for you?! I tell ya though, mines gonna look like an RS when I'm finished with it!! lol ;D

The problem with that is a hell of alot of ppl absolutely hate ppl that try and absolutely replicate another car so altho it would look hot like an RS alot more ppl will probably abuse you, perfect example is 99% of fiesta st owners hate the ppl that replicate it with a normal fiesta, and i mean absolutely hate as in they go and take stuff off it and stick notes on it saying get a real one and stuff, its vicious lol

Oh dear!!! lol The thing with the twingo is, you can't make it look 100% like an RS because the bit surrounding the fogs at the front is completely different, so at least with an Extreme/Dymanique/GT you can still say, your not trying to replicate it, because you haven't got the same front end styling. You might get jipped for having a 'renualt sport' badge on the back when it clearly isn't, but hey I can live with a few sticky notes of abuse stuck here and there, every now and again! ;D lol

I just emailed my local garage on Tuesday night, got an email back yesterday saying they will get one either Friday or Monday that will be available for test driving.

They have taken my mob number so they can contact me as soon as it arrives.

He he, I think I am going to be the first person on here to drive an RS!!

I saw the RS at the British International Motor Show and fell in love!! Thing is im not really ready to let go of my GT :(

Renault phoned me today and said they aren't going to get their RS test model until Tuesday but I have been informed that it will have the cup pack.

Hopefully will pay them a visit on Tuesday evening!!
