Yeah i didnt get to go unfortunately but now i have the twingo i will probbaly go this year. I think there a couple of lads from flux's doing quotes on the day.
I got the twingo yesterday and i love it so much. Its only been on the driveway one night and its covered in bird cack. and theres not even any trees near my driveway. and my mum and dads cars are perfectly fine, i mean WTF?!

and tints on the back 3 windows, hopefully laying the deposit down in the next couple hours so ill let people know if im gonna own a twingo or not lol fingers crossed ! ;D

nice nice, well i got the twingo confirmed, should get the plate number today and the car on the 3rd of march, i went for tempest gray in the end but opted against having the door flag decal as they had a grey one in the showroom with it on and it looks horrid

The car that I saw it in the bright blue colour it didnt really work with it, just a personal choice, but the Twingo in the TG mag they have they panoramic roof

I would say tho that the sports styling kit, does look amazing on the car, Parks in Kirkcaldy have it, on there new dynamique model, It has the rear difuser of the new clio sport, looks cool

They gave £10 worth of petrol, said they had run out of key rings, but they did throw in some decent mat's.

Don't know of one yet mate. Hardly anything about at the moment for the twingo, all i have found so far is an induction kit or filter element.

It handles better than my old clio is cheap on petrol and is fun to drive around the twisty's. ok I wish I had a bit more power but apart from that I have no regrets.

I don't have my Twingo yet.......but I've just committed to buy a 57 plate ex demonstrator GT with 119 miles on it, black with stripe and various extras (hands free thingy and sound pack and stuff), no sun roof though - I think it reduces the head height too much for me anyway ;) Anyhow, I wasn't sure if it was a true bargain or not, but reading here I think it probably is - £7998 inc 6 months car tax, tank petrol and mats. Am collecting it from Glasgow next Sat and can't wait :)

I still haven't seen one on the roads, can't think why?

Don't know if anyone saw it, but there was a salvage GT for sale on ebay. Front end damage and the airbags had gone off.

The final bid was £1500 which didn't meet the reserve, so I don't know how much they were looking for it.

I've been a member of this forum for a few weeks now but never posted anything so thoguht i better now. I drive a black '08 dynamique, which i love so much, especially with the sports pack i chose as an option which completes the look of the car so much! However, i do regret not choosing the sound pack as i did not realise there was a separate dash display and no rear speakers when ordering. I can live without no separate dash display, but can anyone tell me if is easy to fit rear speakers to the car? I no very little of audio electrics and cars!

Yeah you can and it will be simple, but if you dont know a lot and the fact I dont have a Twingo to work on makes it tough, some of the others have installed speakers so lets hope they can put something together for you!

hello mate, there is a chip being developed but be careful, it will put the insurance up as you should declare it, and it will void your manufcaturers warranty

Hi all. I have just bought a 08 Twingo Extreme 1.2 but got metallic paint (tempest) thrown in which was good. Picking it up on the 10th and i'm looking forward to getting behind the wheel. Its the smallest engine i have ever had and i'm dropping from a 1.6 this time. Obviously i'll feel it but my wallet wont. How good are they for petrol. What does a full tank get you usually???

You'll have exactly the same twingo as me, i also got the tempest paint for free. It's pretty good for petrol, does 50.4 mpg on the combined cycle. I did more than 250 miles on my first tank of petrol.

I'm very excited. The reason I opted for it is the MPG it gets, cheaper to insure and tax and obviously its good looks. :) Hopefully i'll see some saving on my petrol bill but I also don't drive very fuel efficiant, lol. ;)

Hi,

I ordered my Extreme Twingo - Blaze over 8 weeks ago. Wanted all the toys lol so have to put up with the wait. Should have been ready on 12th August but for some reason has been delayed until the 19th August. But i know that it's en route to the UK :). Cant wait to get it as it's my first car and also considering i passed my test over a year ago (March 2007), it's been a hell of a long time to wait to drive again.

I was initially looking at the Clio's but when i got to the dealers to look, i saw the Twingo and decided against it. Never once thought i would buy an orange car, was planning on black. Only thing that made me choose was that the one i test drove was Blaze. Took a few weeks to convince myself that i made the right choice on colour.What set it in stone was i seen one in my area in Blaze. The only one i think have seen to date (3 times though).

The only things i didn't get were the Auto Climate Control and the Sport Look Pack.

Does anyone have a pic of the 14" Alloys, as chose them but don't know what they look like and i cant find one anywhere (well one that cleary shows the 14's and not the Dynamique 15's)?

Hi to everyone!!! I'm a twingo gt owner to, and I think that it's a fantastic car! I just love it. I'm from Portugal, and I'm one of the 1# to have a twingo Gt in my country!! It's fun going on the streets and have people staring at me, because it's not a car that sees every day, yet, I hope that more people buy it. I have already made a small change in it, I've made carpets in alluminium and put it a simota conic filter, it improved the acceleration a little bit, and the dump valve just blows quite loud. I'm waiting for new parts and upgrades, cause I think that this car has lot of potential! by by till next time. :D :o

Hi everyone,

we are getting our Twingo Dynamique on wednesday and we can't wait. tried to go for the gt but unfortunately funds did not stretch. still well happy though! we went for extreme blue after much fannying about between black, blue and silver. what made it more difficult was that other than the black one they had at the dealers, we had not seen one twingo anywhere. we have since seen a couple but always in black! what makes it even more hilarious is that we live in sw london and you'd think the chances of there being a few about would be high...you'd think!
In any case it's coming (blindly) in blue so fingers crossedX
oh and one thing i'm a bit confused about is if the mirrors will be body coloured or not, as i thought i saw someone mention something about dynamiques and mirrors on here...

Hello all, my name is Chris I'm 23 & I don't have a Twingo yet :-X but I will be looking to test drive the Twingo GT this weekend. An if I like i'll be getting the finance figures ready an fingers crossed I could be a owner of a Twingo lol..

Currently have a Lexus IS200 & have been a member of LOC(Lexus Owners Club) for 4 or so years, so I thought I'd come an check out my potential new friends & helpers. I love to modd my car & looking forward to getting a turbo to play with, which points me towards the twingo GT :)

Getting rid of the Lex although I love it sooo much 153bhp stock, but mine had a few extras ;) it's big, old 99reg & done 110k miles.. Time for a fresh start, I had a clio 1.2 billabong in 2003 so I've been with renault before & my brother now has that car so I know it's still running great with no faults to date :P

Been looking round the site & see theres not to many products out there yet, which means I can save for a little while yay. But will be looking to sort out that bov, exhaust & most impressive that re-map as soon as funds allow lol... Listen to me go on, not even test driven it yet, or number crunched, but I'm quite excited to see what the little turbo can do ;D

It's down to pennys an insurance, how much finance I can afford etc. I'd really love a turbo does the Renaultsport have one?
With remap etc I was reading your hitting there bhp as well anyway already and with power to weight ratio must be upto the same as my current car, thats without people having time to check out new turbos and other gizmos lol.. Exciting times, also if I was paying RS prices I'd be heading into the 2nd hand clio 172's etc or even trying to source a 197.
Just looking for a cheery, little, trouble free car for the next few years. Sadly my car will probably only reach 3k p/x or less, we'll see on Saturday an of course it all pends if the GT feels nippy enough to entertain me for a few years. The 1.2 clio(my brothers car) I was driving today was lacking mid-top end that maybe the new twingo can fill :)

Also looking at C2 VTS 130bhp but no turbo there ::)
Or just being silly an get a old 2nd hand car like 1.8t GTi Golf, Toyota Starlet GT or the old R5 GTT if I can find one that hasnt been blown up 2 or 3 times lol..

There is a huge difference between the power you get from the GT (1.2 16V Turbo) and the Dynamique (1.2 16V) - I have driven both!!

The RS has a 1.6 Naturally aspirated engine, no turbo!!

When I test driven the RS I was expecting it to have more power, off the mark the GT isn't far off TBH and you get a better MPG out of the GT!! Plus remapping the GT and filter/exhaust will make it the same if not faster than the RS

Your right to be inpatient, I remember having to wait a week for mine, it was a killer!! You'll love your Twingo, its an impressive step up from the Aygo I found (I learned to drive in a 107, as Codders said there basically the same, before I got my Twingo and couldn't believe how well it drove ;D).

I loved it and you will find (If you had wider tyres) it does handle a lot better then the Twingo, that said the Twingo is acres faster, were you a member of the 107oc? Out of interest a lot of the Aygo owners use our other site. If so were cheaper and more fun ;)
